To the Body of Christ
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
As a servant of the Lord and a watchman on the wall (Ezekiel 33:7), I write to remind and encourage the Body of Christ to remain steadfast, watchful, and prayerful in these last days. We are called to take our direction from Christ, our Head, and to be equipped with the whole armor of God so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10–18).
Our Lord warned us in Matthew 24:24 that false Christs and false prophets will arise, showing great signs and wonders, so deceptive that, if possible, even the elect might be deceived. These warnings were given for our protection — to awaken us to spiritual vigilance.
As we approach the season of the biblical Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23–25), let it serve as a reminder that the trumpet blast in Scripture often signaled both a call to worship and a warning of coming events (Joel 2:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:16). The days we live in are filled with confusion, rapid change, and events that cause many to fear. Our focus must remain on Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
There is indeed a great deception coming — a deception foretold in Scripture, in which the forces of darkness will seek to lead many astray (2 Thessalonians 2:9–12, Revelation 13). The enemy works through lies, manipulation, and the distortion of truth. But Jesus Christ has promised that those who are His will know His voice and will not follow a stranger (John 10:4–5).
Some may be troubled by what they see unfolding in the world — geopolitical turmoil, moral decline, technological advancement used for evil purposes, and spiritual deception. Yet we have this assurance: God is faithful, and He will always make a way of escape for those who belong to Him (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Church leaders, I urge you: continue to preach the full counsel of God’s Word. Teach your congregations to discern truth from error through the Scriptures, led by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Equip the saints to stand in the evil day, so that fear will not overtake them when trials come (Luke 21:26).
Life on this earth runs in cycles, and Scripture gives us patterns and warnings from the past — even from Genesis 6, where great wickedness filled the earth, yet God preserved His people. Just as the enemy advances his agenda, the Lord’s heavenly host stands ready, for “the chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels; the Lord is among them” (Psalm 68:17).
Now is the time for the Body of Christ to walk in unity, love, and truth. In these End Times, we will need one another more than ever (Hebrews 10:24–25). Let us be rooted and anchored in Jesus Christ, holding fast to His Word, until the day of His glorious appearing.
In His Master’s Service,
Jesus Is Lord
